Being able to set product groups
Product groups set by category, type, etc so that when setting up complicated shipping rules, all you have to do is put in a product group instead of each selection multiple times based on different criteria.

Yes, if you have a group of products to add the same rules then create one category as a group and assign all the products to that particular category, and then only one rule related to the category name needs to create on the admin side to make it work.
